The Grove Theater

The Grove Theater in Oak Ridge holds a rich history of memories for many in the East Tennessee area. Constructed during the Manhattan Project & recently rennovated, the theater is home to numerous Arts & Sciences organizations. It is currently owned and operated by High Places Community Church.

"Superman moments..." that's what filmmaker Brett Culp calls those times when we're inspired to overcome challenges or do something more for our neighbors. Look to the Sky tells the true and uplifting story of young people from around the country who are making a real difference and inspiring HOPE for us all. 

A charity screening of this film will be held on Saturday, October 28th at 1:30 PM with all proceeds going to Aid to Distressed Families of Appalachian Counties (ADFAC).  ADFAC has heroic 30-year history of serving under-resourced families in our community, bringing hope and light wherever they go.

Tickets are $5.00 and can be pre-purchased at the link below or purchased at the door. Be sure to select "Look to the Sky" from the drop-down menu, seating will be limited to the first 500 tickets sold. Pre-purchased tickets will be held with your name at given to you at the door when you arrive.

Kids 12 and under -- come early for a Superhero Party and a chance to save our city in real time as we hunt clues that will help us find our missing mayor! Dress up as your favorite superhero if you want! Costume contest, games, activities, and more will get us in the superhero spirit as we prepare for this great film! 

The party starts at 11:00 AM with free pizza for the kids at noon! Then at 1:30 we will watch the documentary with an optional cartoon playing in a smaller theater for smaller children who need that option! Seating is limited to 500!
